Read carefully before downloading
a sample eBook
Using an eBook is very user friendly - it’s just a matter of knowing how it works. Follow these instructions to maximize your first eBook experience.
iPad Users: Make sure you have the most recent iBook app downloaded from the App Store. iBook 2 Is free. Use the iPad eBook samples (BLUE links). Send the eBook sample file to your iPad. Open the eBook in the iBook reader. Hold the iPad vertically - in “landscape” position - showing one page at a time. Important: Set the font size to the smallest size.
Other readers (Nook, Kindle Fire, etc): Use the Reader eBook samples (RED links). Follow the same instructions as iPad above.
To read eBooks on your computer: First, download the free Sony Reader at
http://ebookstore.sony.com/download/ Use the Reader eBook samples (RED links). Open the sample file in the Sony Reader, which shows 2 pages at a time. Re-size the Sony Reader to fit your viewing preference. Adjust the page size so that the credits are shown at the bottom of each page. Set the font size to the smallest size. (Adjust if needed.) You are ready to view eBooks on your computer screen.
